This mala has been the most complex design for me, in deciding what colors to work with. I felt this made sense in working with Hel.

I was set on the colors for this one. I had burned all the runes. Soon thereafter, I felt it just wasn’t right for this guide for those who have crossed over into Niflheim.

…So I began to contemplate colors again.

It needed to encompass strength, power, but also a grounded comfort. And thus, I burned the runes again in another color.

Yes. It finally was right.

The intentions behind this mala is to better connect with Hel, to honor her and her duties. It is intended to bring internal peace in dealing with death and for those who have found their way to her.

Find a meditative beat with death congruent with the heart.

The epitome of being grounded.

Death will find us all.
And it is likely we will then live under the grace of Hel.
